What is Route Package Protection?
Route Package Protection is a package protection solution that helps cover your order in the event that your order gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit while also protecting the planet. We know how frustrating it is to have something happen to your order, so we’ve partnered with Route to offer added assurance that you’re supported, no matter what.
Policy Note: Route package protection is automatically included in your cart at checkout. If you wish to remove it, please proceed to the Shopping Cart checkout page where you acknowledge the subtotal amount. You will find the Route logo and "Package Protection Against loss, theft, or damage in transit and instant resolution with Route" with a slider. To remove the protection, click the slider so that the checkmark is not displayed, and it will be removed from your cart.
How Does Route Work?
Route offers you "peace of mind" package protection for all of your orders at an affordable price. The cost to you - to fully protect your package in the event that it is lost, damaged, or stolen - is calculated based on the subtotal of the order and the partnership between Route and the merchant.
If your Route-protected order ends up lost, damaged, or stolen, Route’s expert support team helps ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded as preferred. Claims will be reviewed for approval within 1-2 business days from filing.

How Does Route Process Refunds or Reorders?
Refunds: When refunding an item, Route refunds the cost of the item(s) alone when approved. Shipping costs, taxes, and the Route premium are not included. Route also does not pay custom/duty fees.
Reorders: Route will reorder the items, depending on in-stock availability. Unavailable items will be refunded. Route will cover the cost of any reorders including shipping, taxes, and Route Shipping Protection.
