Treadstone intercooler cores feature highly efficient bar and plate core achieving efficiencys up to 80%. With a louvered external fin and staggard internal fin these cores will provide the best intercooling at a very efficient rate. Core size 8" X 10" X 4.5"

This same exact core with our stadard bar height is rated for 411HP, while the Rated-R core is rated at 526HP / 789CFM
With 14 internal passage ways compared to 10, this core allows higher internal flow and less pressure drop. These cores are mainly used on side mount twin turbo applications where we can sacrifice ambient external airflow because there is not a radiator behind each core that needs air flow. Eliminating the radiators need for airflow, we can shrink the ambient fin height, and add this to internal flow. These Rated-R cores will also be found on full race intercooler set ups on large front mount intercoolers.
